Advertising Inside Skroutz: What Is Available and Who Is It For?

Skroutz is not just a price comparison site. It also works as an advertising medium, where brands and shops are shown at the moment a consumer is ready to buy. The market calls this retail media.

What it offers

At a presentation covered by marketingweek (28/05/2025), Skroutz executives presented the platform's advertising solutions:

• Sponsored products, in the top search positions and on product pages

• Category sponsorships, visibility within specific categories

• Brand Pages, a dedicated space for each brand

• Videos with Skroutz content creators

• CRM campaigns via email and notifications

• Skroutz Market Intelligence, data analysis for brands, importers and distributors

The same executives spoke of more than 7 million consumers and over 300 brands working strategically with the platform.

Who it makes sense for

If you sell products already listed on Skroutz, the advertising appears very close to the purchase. For services, or a local business without an online shop, Google and social media are usually a better fit.

Before you start, look at what customers will find when they arrive: price, shipping, availability, reviews. Advertising brings them to the page, but those decide. And measure profit, not just sales: a sale with a low margin and advertising costs may leave nothing behind. At Promoters we can look together at whether Skroutz fits your advertising plan.
